The Public Information Officer is the competent authority for providing information under the Act and any person desirous to obtain information on PDS shall make an application as prescribed in the Act with requisite application fee.

To maintain transparency, the FPS dealer shall display the following information on a Sign Board outside the FP shops.

1. FPS license No. and Name of FPS license holder
2. List of BPL and AAY beneficiaries
3. Entitlement/scale of issue of essential commodities
4. Issue price
5. Working hours of the FPS
6. Allocation received for the month
7. Daily stock availability.
