The Public Distribution System functions through
a network of Fair Price Shops. The Fair Price Shops are entrusted
with the responsibility of distributing PDS items to the ration
card holders attached to the respective FP Shops. Care is taken
to ensure opening of FP Shops at locations which would be convenient
for the ration card holders. As per the GoI standard, each FPS has been assigned a unique FPS code based on region codes as per RGI standard that the FPS can be uniquely identified across the state as well as its geographical location can be implied. The district wise list of FPS with its details are as under:-
